| 1.MORNING PRAYER |
Before the commencement of classes, every day, the 'Daiva Dashakam' written by his Holiness Narayana Guru, is played on the public address system. Staff and Students stand in reverential silence during the invocation.This creates the necessary ambience to carry out the teaching-learning process effectively. |
| 2.ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR FRESHERS |
An orientation programme is organised for the benefit of those who get admitted to the first year degree courses in the colege.They are enlightened upon the importance of higher education, in general, and the course in which students are admitted, in particular.They are also informed about the faculty of the department,the facilities available in the college and the code of conduct to be observed in the campus. |
| 3.MID-DAY MEAL PROGRAMME |
With the objective of ensuring a hunger-free campus,the college has launched a programme to give mid-day meal to deserving students identified by group tutors.Sree Narayan Guru often reminded his disciples not to mention even matters relating to GOD to those who are hungry. Hence it is believed that the programme will help the disadvantaged students to imbibe lessons in a better manner.The programme is implemented with the financial assistance of the U.A.E Chapter of the Former Students Association of the College. |
| 4.TALENT SEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAME |
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell in association with the Parents Teachers Association of the college has launched the programme.Deserving students, identified by Heads of the departments, are provided with learning aids and other facilities with the objective of improving their merits. |
| 5.MERIT DAY |
Every year a Merit Day is observed in the college so as to honour students who bag ranks in the University Examination and first place in such examination .Students who excel in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are also honoured.Cash Awards, Momentos and Certificates of merit are distributed to the meritorious students by a leading light in the education sector. Teachers who receive awards, honours,additional degrees etc.are also felicitated in the occassion. The programme is organised by the Parents Teachers Association of the College. The objective of this best practice is to motivate students in their studies and to promote other healthy activities by them.Teachers are also encouraged to excel in their fields of activities. |
